APE MAN mixed media with resin on found board. 9.5×8.5 inches. This character evolved from an involved multi-wooden block assemblage, originally Ape Man was painted on a 5×3 inch block. He stood out from the rest of the images so I blew him up and made him a solo act. He has been done with various color backgrounds but the yellow-orange works best for me.
